Had an inspiring time at the AI x Design Summit, where the worlds of AI and design came together to spark some groundbreaking ideas.
\nMy main highlight was Cien Solon’s workshop on creating AI agents. This session resonated with me because it showed how AI can elevate creativity by handling the repetitive, freeing us up to innovate in ways we hadn’t imagined.
\nFrom exploring AI in mental health with Dr Anushka Patchava to diving into content automation with Polly Barnfield, OBE, each talk brought fresh perspectives on how AI can reshape our industries.
\nThe event was a powerful reminder of AI’s potential to not only streamline our work, but to open new doors in creativity and impact.
\nExcited to bring these insights back to my work and push the boundaries of what we can achieve with AI!
\n\n | \n Product Unleashed, 21st November, London, UK\nDone, done and on to the next one. I'll be attending Product Unleashed next week, gaining insights from two outstanding design leaders: Andy Budd—Design Leader, Speaker, Advisor, Coach, and Venture Partner at Seedcamp—and Caio Orio, Design Lead at Wise. \nAndy will share common pitfalls that early-stage founders, product managers, and designers face when launching new projects—and how to sidestep them. He’ll also reveal the 7 essential factors from his “growth equation” that guide startup success (the book I've been reading recently). \nCaio will dive into the challenge of standing out in a highly commoditised landscape, discussing how brands can avoid blending into a sea of sameness by building meaningful emotional connections with their customers. Ties in to my intro quite well doesn't it?! \nSee you there? \n \n | \n\n |

Perplexity launches a mobile assistant and I've started coding with AI assistance in Cursor! So without further ado, here's this week's updates in AI,...
Hey there, I use ChatGPT every day. I’m practically begging Figma to roll out AI to our team. And if something has those magic letters “A” and “I,” I’m already signed up. But this isn’t about jumping on a trend. It’s rooted in a philosophy I’ve always believed: computers exist to handle the heavy lifting, freeing us to focus on what really matters—thinking, creating, and making meaningful impact. Last night, I was revisiting my Product Design Sprint template and migrating it into FigJam. One...
Hey subscriber, I'm kicking off something new here. Having run a number of newsletters over the years, and having moved around in my career quite a lot (!), I'm starting to gain a better understanding about what I do and what value I bring to the world. This (new) newsletter is a big part of that. I want to write, share and create within design, product and the growing influence of artificial intelligence. I've been really excited about using tools like ChatGPT in my work, and I can start to...
