We're nearly at the end of January, so I thought it was high time to roll out a new newsletter, and what an incredible week it has been in AI, Product and Business:

Open AI's Operator

Last week, OpenAI launched Operator, an AI agent that can perform tasks on the web. Now, it's currently a research preview of an agent that can use its own browser to perform tasks for you and only available to Pro users in the U.S., but it signifies the start of a big shift in how we do what we do. Perplexity now has a mobile assistant on Android

Perplexity has turned its AI “answer engine” into a mobile assistant on Android. The new assistant can answer general questions and perform tasks on your behalf, such as writing an email, setting a reminder, booking dinners, and more.

Cursor is incredibly exciting for designers!

I've been using Cursor and V0 for the past month. They have been incredible tools to help, in my context, a designer start to understand code and actually develop prototypes and apps. I'm following a design.code course at the moment and it's terribly exciting. Plan to share more (and indeed launch more) at some point this year.
